Jess + Craig + Maggie + Eliza

There's something very satisfying about working with a family through the years. This week, I'm photographing three families I've photographed many times. This is the first of the three.

Trust - shared aesthetic - fun. It all works together to create a great experience and yummy photographs!

Whole Foods Napa Valley Employees

• Photographing 130 Whole Foods employees at 7:30 a.m. - No problem.

• Photographing 130 Whole Foods employees at 7:30 a.m. precisely while a hot air balloon floats overhead - Only in Napa Valley!

Intersections/Fast Forward

My longtime dear friend, Sheila Scobba Banning, recently published a book called Intersections.  Sheila is one of the funniest, wittiest people I know.  Intersections is "an eclectic collection of short stories exploring love and loss in modern times, this book merges literary fiction and science fiction in one volume."

Sheila's exciting "hot off the press" news is that Intersections was just picked up by Amazon.  BRAVO!!!

I highly recommend you go to her site and look around.  DO NOT MISS her essay, Weeping and Laughinghttp://www.scobba.com/Essays.htm  I had the privilege of taking her author photo.

Activities for Kids at a Wedding

I just discovered a wonderful resource for wedding couples who will include kids as guests. Napa Valley Activities will entertain the kids at a wedding or create custom parties for you. Their related business provides babysitting services.

Napa Valley Activities studio space on Industrial Way is a gem too. In their large space, they have a pottery, glass and clay studio. They host parties of all kinds and for all ages. Adorable!
